Club Swimming (USS), Masters Swimming (USMS), Masters Water Polo and Club Water Polo (USWP) are the current BAC programs The Burlingame Aquatic Club (BAC) was founded in 2000, at the same time the newly renovated aquatic facility was opened to the public. From that time up through the summer of 2011, BAC specialized solely in competitive aquatics for youth and adults, growing very successful progr
ams in Club Swimming (USS), Masters Swimming (USMS), Masters Water Polo and Club Water Polo (USWP). During that time, our athletes achieved such successes as: winning Junior Olympic and Far Western swimming events, qualifying to compete at the Junior National Swim Championships, competing in Junior Olympic National Water Polo Tournaments, earning spots on Olympic Development Teams, earning spots on Pacific LSC All-Star teams (swimmers as well as coaches), placing 2nd in the Trans Tahoe Open Water Race, and the list goes on! Due to the successes BAC has achieved with its competitive programs, in the fall of 2011 the City of Burlingame ceded operational management of all aquatic programs run out of the facility, with the exception of BHS athletics, to the club. We are grateful to have been given the opportunity to work with an extended group of community members, and look forward to welcoming you to our BAC family! Our goals as an organization are based on our desire to facilitate growth and development in all levels of athletes, from 6 months old to 99 years. We believe that there is a place in aquatics for everyone, and it is our intention to continually make that belief a reality for anyone that walks through the facility doors. As a non-profit organization, we have a very strong loyalty to our community, our neighbors, and all of the families that entrust themselves into our programs.
