Mystic Seaport- Mission Statement is to inspire an enduring connection to the American Maritime experience. The Seaport founded in 1929 is the nations leading maritime museum. It has grown to be a national center for research and education. Visit the recreated New England coastal village, working shipyard, formal exhibit halls and state of the art storage facilities. Also see the Charles W. Morgan, America's oldest commercial ship. Now on exhibit see Brick Wrecks- Sunken ships in Lego Bricks. Our library pass, which can be printed or emailed on demand is 1/2 off regular admission for 2 adults and 2 children. Our pass is sponsored by The Friends of the Blackstone Library.

Join children’s author Janaya Hernandez for a fun and interactive storytime experience featuring readings from her children’s books Penny Paige: Loving Bookworm and The Elle in the Room.

Designed for ages 3–7, this engaging event encourages creativity, confidence, imagination, and a love of reading through storytelling and hands-on activities.

Following the readings, children will participate in a special “Plant Your Story” flower pot decorating activity where they will create and personalize their own mini flower pot to take home as a reminder that growth begins when we try something new.
