The Saturday hours are only from the Saturday after Labor Day through the Saturday before Father's Day.

The purpose of the Bellingham Public Library is to be an important resource for all members of the community in their search for knowledge, ideas, information, and creative use of their leisure time.

Diyas are small oil lamps that are traditionally made from clay and used to celebrate Diwali, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. Join us to learn more about the festival of Diwali and to decorate your own diya to take home!

Nichos are small, recessed 3D frames in Latin American folk art, often placed on altars during Día de los Mu***os celebrations. Join us to learn more about Día de los Mu***os customs and make your own nicho box using recycled items! This craft will require the use of scissors, glue, and small objects. No registration!

There's still space in tonight's Family Yoga and pumpkin painting/game activity night with the Friends of the Bellingham Public Library (MA). Swing by between 6-7 pm and tire out those kiddos before bedtime!

TONIGHT!! Join Sprouting Tree Yoga at the Bellingham Library’s Friends & Family Night for a playful, autumn-themed family yoga adventure! Children and their grown-ups will move, imagine, laugh, and connect through seasonal yoga poses, music, breathing activities, and creative movement.

This inclusive class welcomes families of all experience levels, ages, abilities, and family structures, with an emphasis on joy, connection, and appreciation for one another. No previous yoga experience is needed! A limited number of yoga mats will be available. If you have your own mat, please bring it—or feel free to bring a towel to use instead. Come move, breathe, play, and connect!

Afterwards, you’re invited to paint pumpkins, make crafts, take photos in our photo area, and play games!
