ACHS CTAE director and teachers attended the annual GACTE Conference this week. CTAE directors and teachers from across the state gathered to collaborate, innovate, and advocate in order to provide high-quality Career, Technical, & Agricultural Education pathway opportunities for students.

Moriah Mims has been officially selected as a member of the Class AA All-State First Team, one of only eight players selected statewide in Georgia by the All-State Coaches Panel. This prestigious selection was approved by the Executive Committee of the Georgia High School Golf Coaches Association, recognizing the top high school golf talent across the state. Congratulations Moriah!!

This includes:

Minimum Qualifications:

✅ Passed the NOCTI Assessment in one or more of the following areas and possess a minimum of two years of industry experience:

Industry Fundamentals and Occupational Safety (AC-IFOS)
-Construction and Maintenance Trades
-Construction Cluster
-Engineering and Technology
-HVACR
-Metal Working Occupations Cluster
—Precision Machine Technology
-Sheet Metal
-Trade & Industrial Education (Grades 6–12)
-Welding and Cutting
-Welding Technology
✅ 2 or more years of industry experience
