This month: Justice in Motion covers a new research brief with Arnold Ventures on charge declinations and recidivism, a The Safety and Justice Challenge research symposium, and a review of Oscar-nominated documentary The Alabama Solution.

We also express our deepest sadness over the loss of Dr. Selso Villegas. In addition to being a leader in water rights and environmental conservation, Dr. Selso Villegas was also a community advocate, serving on the Wičhóyaŋke Network since its inception. We are deeply grateful to have known and worked with Selso, and hope to preserve his spirit in continuing work under the Wičhóyaŋke Network.
