Seriously though, it’s for our children’s safety. If you’re interested in volunteering in your child’s classroom or chaperoning a field trip don’t forget complete a volunteer application form. It’s good for three years. They’re still your kids after the three years is up, but you’ll need to renew…I’m renewing mine right now 🙂

We may not be as early as Target with the Halloween decorations, but it’s officially time to start planning the 2026 Abingdon PTA Trunk or Treat taking place on Sunday, October 25! 🎃

We’re looking for volunteers to:

🚗 Decorate your cars and hand out treats! We've set a goal of at least 30 decorated cars.
👻 Set up the event from 1:15-2pm
🧹 Clean up the event from 3-3:30pm
🍫 Donate candy to the Main Office labeled PTA
🎃 Work the Pumpkin Decorating Table
