On Saturday Oct. 24th. Altamont Fire & Rescue members, Conducted a in house extrication training. Members learned the basic steps of how to secure a vehicle and quickly gain patient access in a timely manner. Thanks to Lusk Motorsports for donating a vehicle for us to practice with.

(5:19am) Altamont Fire Department was dispatched to a tree across the road and on phone lines located on Hwy 56. Altamont Fire Department members worked swiftly using chainsaws and man power to remove the road hazard. (5:38am) Roadway was reopened.
