Public information requests must be directed to the Senior Manager of Community Affairs. Posts, replies, and other content posted to the district's Facebook account containing any of the following forms of content shall not be allowed and shall be removed as soon as possible:
• Comments not topically related to the particular post being commented upon
• Profane language or content
• Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates harassment or discrimination of protected classes
• Sexual content or links to sexual content
• Content that encourages illegal activity or violation of school rules
• Content that promotes, fosters or creates a substantial disruption of school activities or otherwise encourages willful defiance of the valid authority of supervisors, teachers, administrators, other school officials, or other school personnel engaged in the performance of their duties
• Solicitations of commerce or advertisements including promotion or endorsement
• Defamatory or threatening comments
• Comments in support of or opposition to political campaigns or ballot measures
• Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of schools, the public, school district employees, other public systems or which violates a person's informational privacy
• Content that violates the legal ownership interest of any other party
Any content removed based on these guidelines will be retained, including the time, date and identity of the poster when available. AUSD disclaims any and all responsibility and liability for any content that the district deems inappropriate for posting, which cannot be removed in an expeditious and otherwise timely manner.
