RESCUELYMPICS 2026: SCHOOL EDITION SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED
The Local Government Unit of Tagudin, under the leadership of Hon. Evangeline I. Verzosa, through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) headed by Engr. Michael B. Padayao, LDRRM Officer, successfully concluded the RESCUELYMPICS 2026: Project SAVER (School Active Volunteer for Emergency Response) held on July 14, 2026.
The activity gathered eight (8) Integrated and Secondary Schools in the Municipality of Tagudin for a day of exciting rescue challenges, teamwork, and demonstrations of emergency response skills. Through various disaster preparedness and response competitions, the participants showcased their knowledge, discipline, leadership, and commitment to becoming capable and responsible youth responders.
The RESCUELYMPICS is one of the highlights of the Municipality's celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, aimed at empowering the youth with life-saving skills while promoting a culture of preparedness, resilience, and volunteerism in schools and communities.
The Awarding and Culminating Program of the National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, including the recognition of the winners of the RESCUELYMPICS 2026 will be held on August 3, 2026.
