Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) on Anti-Drugs and Anti-Terrorism

The Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) session on anti-drugs and anti-terrorism was conducted as the final part of the program at Fan-ayan, Betwagan, Sadanga.

During the discussion, Sir Angelito F. Vitenio Jr. and Sir Espedy C. Likkab of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Tabrak, Sadanga, emphasized the importance of learning to say “NO” to illegal drugs, negative peer pressure, and activities that threaten peace and security. They encouraged the participants, especially the youth, to make responsible decisions, resist negative influences, and remain firm in choosing a safe, positive, and productive path in life.

The session highlighted the importance of awareness, discipline, and active youth participation in maintaining a peaceful and drug-free Community.

Successful Conduct of Basic Life Support Training in Fan-ayan, Betwagan, Sadanga

The Basic Life Support (BLS) training was successfully conducted at Fan-ayan, Betwagan, Sadanga, through the initiative and coordination of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) with the personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) from Tabrak, Sadanga, and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

The activity was attended by a total of 45 participants, including officers of BASA of MPSU

The activity aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in providing immediate assistance during emergencies. Through the guidance and expertise of the resource persons, participants gained valuable knowledge about basic life-saving techniques and the importance of remaining calm and prepared during emergency situations.

The successful conduct of the training reflects the commitment of the SK to promoting community safety, preparedness, and awareness. The collaboration among the SK, PNP, and BFP demonstrates the importance of teamwork in equipping community members with essential skills that can help save lives.

Talent Show Mechanics:
Open to all interested community members. Individual, pair, and group performances are welcome. Performance duration: 3–5 minutes.

Judging criteria: Talent (40%), Creativity (25%), Stage Presence (20%), and Audience Impact (15%).

🏆 SUPPORTING OUR YOUTH THROUGH SPORTS! 🏀🏐

The Betwagan Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), led by SK Chairperson Marcial S. Chakiwag, procured and turned over sports equipment to Betwagan National High School in support of the upcoming Intramurals, which will be held on Monday.

The sports equipment turned over includes two (2) volleyballs, two (2) pairs of table tennis rackets, and two (2) discus throw plates.

This initiative is part of the SK’s commitment to supporting our youth and promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, camaraderie, and healthy competition among students.

May these sports equipment contribute to a fun, meaningful, and successful Intramurals!
