In celebration of World Rivers Day, SPESO Monkayo joined hands with Youth for Peace Movement Monkayo and MENRO for “Kalinaw Para sa Kinaiyahan: Tree Planting Activity” on September 27, 2026 at Municipal Arboretum, Poblacion, Monkayo, Davao de Oro

Together with the 25th Infantry Battalion, youth organizations and community partners came together to plant trees and contribute to a greener and healthier environment. More than simply planting trees, the activity was an opportunity for everyone to work together and take part in caring for our community.

Every tree we plant today is a step toward a greener future. With the cooperation of young people, community organizations, and local partners, we can continue creating positive change in the places we call home.

A clean and healthy environment is a shared responsibility. When young people, community groups, and different organizations come together, even simple efforts can create a lasting impact in our community.

Para sa kinaiyahan, para sa komunidad, para sa kaugmaon. Padayon ta!
