CITY OF LIGAO JOINS THE COOPERATIVE MONTH CELEBRATION 2026!

The City Government of Ligao, through the City Cooperatives Development Office, proudly joins the nationwide celebration of Cooperative Month 2026 this October, with the theme of strengthening the spirit of cooperation, unity, and inclusive community development.

This month-long celebration recognizes the invaluable contributions of cooperatives in promoting economic empowerment, livelihood opportunities, community participation, and sustainable development.

In Ligao City, cooperatives continue to serve as important partners in advancing the welfare of our communities by creating opportunities for members, supporting local enterprises, strengthening livelihoods, and fostering a culture of self-help, solidarity, and shared responsibility.

The 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 successfully conducted a Policy Formulation Training cm Workshop for Cooperatives bringing together officers and members of LIGAO CITY GARMENTS PRODUCERS COOPERATIVE to strengthen institutional governance through the development of effective, relevant, and sustainable cooperative policies.

The activity equipped participants with practical knowledge and skills in formulating policies that promote transparency, accountability, operational efficiency, and compliance with existing laws and regulations governing cooperatives.
Through collaborative discussions, workshops, and interactive learning sessions, participants drafted policies tailored to the unique needs of their respective cooperatives, reinforcing good governance and sound management practices.

This initiative reflects the City's continuing commitment to empowering cooperatives by enhancing their organizational capacity and fostering a culture of responsible leadership and excellence in cooperative management.

Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap na mapalakas ang kapasidad ng mga kooperatiba sa ating lungsod, matagumpay na isinagawa ng 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 ang unang araw ng 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝘂𝗺 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀.

Ito ay bahagi ng 𝟭𝟬-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 na gagawin ng CCDO sa ibat'ibang kooperatiba sa Ligao City. Dinaluhan ito ng mga opisyal at miyembro ng 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗙𝗪𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 na nagkaisa sa layuning mapabuti ang kanilang mga polisiya at mapatatag ang kanilang sistema ng pamamahala. Sa pamamagitan ng mga makabuluhang talakayan, workshop sessions, at praktikal na pagsasanay, higit na napaunlad ang kanilang kaalaman sa pagbuo ng mga polisiya na nagsusulong ng transparency, accountability, sustainability, at good governance.

Ang maayos at napapanahong mga polisiya ay mahalagang sangkap sa pagtataguyod ng matatag, responsable, at matagumpay na kooperatiba. Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing ito, inaasahang higit pang mapalalakas ang kakayahan ng ating mga kooperatiba na makapagbigay ng de-kalidad na serbisyo at mas malaking benepisyo sa kanilang mga miyembro at komunidad.

💚 Sama-sama nating isulong ang mas matatag, mas maunlad, at mas responsableng kilusang kooperatiba para sa ating lungsod!
