✨ “Bridging Hearts Beyond Bars” ✨

Earlier today, the Jail Officer 1 Trainees successfully conducted their Culmination Activity as part of their Jail Immersion Program at Digos City District Jail- Female Dormitory. 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️🤍

The activity marked not only the conclusion of their immersion journey, but also a meaningful opportunity to express gratitude to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) for their cooperation, participation, and shared experiences throughout the program. 🙏✨

It also emphasized the importance of positive interaction, mutual respect, compassion, and understanding within correctional facilities. Through this experience, the trainees gained valuable insights that strengthened their professionalism, empathy, and commitment to public service. 💙

More than just a training requirement, the Jail Immersion Program became a reminder that behind every story is a chance for growth, reflection, and transformation. 🌱✨

As they move forward in their journey of service, may the lessons learned inside the facility continue to guide them in becoming dedicated, disciplined, and compassionate future jail officers. 👮‍♂️📚🤝

DIGOS CITY — The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) conducted an on-site voter registration earlier today April 29, 2026, at the Digos City District Jails.

Fifteen female PDL of this unit benefitted from the activity, as they were successfully registered, transferred, and verified.
The initiative highlights the importance of bringing government services closer to PDL within the jail facility and ensures that they are able to exercise their right of suffrage while continuing to be recognized as active participants in the democratic process.

𝐃𝐒𝐒𝐂 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐒 “𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐁𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐒: 𝐊𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐒 𝐒𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐁 𝐍𝐆 𝐑𝐄𝐇𝐀𝐒” 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐃𝐂𝐃𝐉-𝐅𝐃 𝐅𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄 𝐏𝐃𝐋

The Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), in collaboration with this Unit, conducted an educational activity under the Education Behind Bars program titled “Kompos sa Loob ng Rehas” on April 24, 2026.

Twenty-seven (27) female PDL actively participated in the session, which included a brief lesson on letter composition based on assigned titles, followed by guided writing exercises.

The activity aimed to provide educational support and promote rehabilitation through structured learning, including discussions on effective title-making and writing. The program highlights the continued partnership between BJMP and DSSC in strengthening educational and reformation initiatives inside the facility.
