𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗯 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀

Coconut farmers from Saub, Matanao, Davao del Sur received 9,009 coconut seedlings equivalent to 63 hectares.

This distribution is part of PCA's Massive Coconut Planting Program (MCPP).

𝗠𝗢𝗔 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) XI thru the leadership of Regional Manager Juvy T. Alayon and the MLGU-Magsaysay of Davao del Sur represented by the Honorable Mayor Arthur D. Davin and Municipal Agriculturist Helen P. Carampatana has forged a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the establishment of Communal Nursery for Hybrid Coconut.

The hybrid coconut seednuts harvested from On-Farm Hybridization Project will be sown in the nursery and soon be distributed to local coconut farmers.

The project aim for a higher yield coconut production that will benefit local coconut farmers.

The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) XI under the leadership of Regional Manager Juvy T. Alayon has formally forged a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with SUNGA HOSPITAL of Digos City.

This collaboration is in line with the PCA's implementation of Health and Medical Program under the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP).

Further, this agreement aim to facilitate the delivery of health and medical services to coconut farmers and their family.

𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚, 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐎𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥

A total of 4,290 coconut seedlings were delivered to Brgy. Kibalatong, Malita, Davao Occidental.

This is part of PCA's Massive Coconut Planting Project (MCPP).

Again, this proves the authority is continuously extending support to our Indigenous People community.

February 12, 2026▐ Matagumpay na naipamahagi ng PCA Davao del Sur & Davao Occidental ang mga hybrid na punla ng niyog sa mga magsasakang benepisyario sa Brgy. Zone II, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.

Ang aktibidad ay bahagi ng Coconut Hybridization Program - Communal Nursery Establishment, na layunin na palawakin ang produksyon ng niyog sa lalawigan at madagdagan ang kita ng mga magsasaka ng niyog.

Coconut Farmers from Balangonan, Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental received a batch of coconut seedlings as part of the PCA's Sustainable Planting and Replanting of Local Cultivars Project.

Facilitated by Coconut Development Officer Rodolfo V. Fernandez Jr., the distribution went on succesfully.

This initiative aims to improve coconut production of local coconut farmers which will soon benefiting both the farmers and local economy.
