نهار 9 أكتوبر، شاركات سفيرة السويد فالمغرب، فريدريكا أورنبرانت، فجلسة حوار دبلوماسية بعنوان «الرياضة كلغة مشتركة: تحالفات دولية من أجل المساواة والإدماج وتعزيز القيادة عند الفتيات»، ضمن معرض Africa Sports Expo فالدار البيضاء.

هاد الجلسة، اللي تنظّمات فإطار منتدى تيبو أفريقيا، ناقشات كيفاش التعاون الدولي والشراكات يقدرو يستثمرو قوة الرياضة باش يعزّزو المساواة والإدماج، ويفتحو المجال للفتيات باش يطوّرو مهاراتهم القيادية.

سفارة السويد فرحانة بدعم هاد المبادرة، اللي كتجسّد التزامنا بالمساواة بين النساء والرجال وتوفير فرص أكثر للفتيات والنساء.

🇸🇪🇲🇦 A look back at the 4th National Forum for the Empowerment of Girls and Women through Sport!

On 9 October, H.E. Fredrika Ornbrant, Ambassador of Sweden to Morocco, participated in the diplomatic panel “Sport as a Common Language: International Alliances for Equality, Inclusion and Girls’ Leadership,” held at the Africa Sports Expo in Casablanca.

Organised as part of Tibu Africa’s Forum, the panel explored how international cooperation and partnerships can harness the power of sport to advance equality, promote inclusion and strengthen girls’ leadership.

The Embassy of Sweden was pleased to support this initiative, reflecting our commitment to gender equality and opportunities for girls and women.

خلال الزيارة ديالها لتطوان، زارت سفيرة السويد فالمغرب، فريدريكا أورنبرانت، إيكيا باش تتعرف أكثر على أنشطة الشركات السويدية والحضور ديالها فشمال المغرب.

Swedish Innovation and Business Opportunities in Morocco

During her visit to Tetouan, H.E. Fredrika Ornbrant, Ambassador of Sweden to Morocco, visited IKEA to learn more about Swedish business activities and their presence in northern Morocco.

The visit offered an opportunity to reflect on Sweden’s longstanding tradition of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship, as well as the potential for Swedish expertise and business partnerships to contribute to economic development, job creation and sustainable growth in Morocco.

Strengthening ties between Swedish businesses and Moroccan partners remains an important part of fostering trade, creating new opportunities and advancing mutually beneficial economic cooperation between our two countries.

🤝🇲🇦 التعاون القوي كيعطي نتائج ملموسة.

الشراكة الوثيقة بين السويد والمغرب كتواصل تبيّن الأهمية ديال التعاون الدولي فمواجهة الجريمة الخطيرة والمنظمة.

من بعد التوقيف الأخير فالمغرب ديال مواطن سويدي كان مطلوب دولياً، أكدت المفوضة الوطنية للشرطة فالسويد، بيترا لوند، على أهمية التعاون الوثيق وطويل الأمد بين الأجهزة الأمنية فالبلدين.

وقالت:
“ملي كنتقاسمو المعلومات وكنخدمو مع بعضياتنا عبر الحدود، كيولي من الصعب على المجرمين الخطيرين يتخباو ويفلتو من العدالة.”

بيترا لوند وجّهت كذلك الشكر للمدير العام للأمن الوطني ولمراقبة التراب الوطني، عبد اللطيف حموشي، وللشرطة المغربية على العمل ديالهم اللي تميّز باحترافية وفعالية كبيرة.
هاد العملية هي مثال ملموس آخر على التعاون المتزايد بين السلطات السويدية والمغربية، المبني على الحوار، الثقة، والالتزام المشترك بمحاربة الجريمة المنظمة العابرة للحدود.

🤝🇲🇦 Strong cooperation delivers concrete results.

The close partnership between Sweden and Morocco continues to demonstrate the importance of international cooperation in tackling serious and organised crime.
Following the recent arrest in Morocco of a Swedish national wanted internationally, Sweden’s National Police Commissioner Petra Lundh highlighted the value of the close and long-term cooperation between the two countries’ police authorities.
“When we share information and act together across national borders, it becomes more difficult for serious criminals to hide and evade justice,” she said.
Petra Lundh also extended her thanks to Morocco’s Director General of National Security and National Territory Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, and the Moroccan police for their highly professional and effective work.
The operation is another concrete example of the growing cooperation between Swedish and Moroccan authorities, built on dialogue, trust and a shared commitment to combating cross-border organised crime.

Together, across borders, we are stronger. 🇸🇪🤝🇲🇦
