Deepening collaboration for petroleum revenue oversight

The Public Interest and Accountability Committee (PIAC) has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson in Accra.

The PIAC delegation, led by its Chair, Richard Ellimah engaged the Minister on issues relating to the management and use of Ghana’s petroleum revenues.

The engagement provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange perspectives on transparency, accountability, and the prudent utilization of petroleum resources for national development.

PIAC remains committed to engaging key stakeholders as part of its mandate to promote transparency and accountability in Ghana’s petroleum revenue management and use.

PIAC meets Chief of Staff

A delegation from the Public Interest and Accountability Committee (PIAC) has paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah at the Jubilee House in Accra.

Led by its Vice Chair, Edward Yaw Afriyie, the delegation comprised both Members and Secretariat Staff. The visit reaffirmed PIAC’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with relevant stakeholders in a bid to promoting transparency in the management of Ghana’s petroleum revenues.

The meeting provided an opportunity for PIAC to engage on key issues related to accountability, oversight, and the efficient use of petroleum resources.

The Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah welcomed the visit and commended PIAC for its continued efforts in promoting transparency and accountability in the management and use of petroleum revenues.
