Here’s Cllr Amy Tisi, RBWM Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, talking about the Liberal Democrats new council-owned residential children’s care home which opened last November.

It provides a safe and comfortable place to live and gives these children in care more opportunity.

At the same time it saves money for the council by moving away from expensive private providers and instead placing this service under our own control.

That’s why we’re investing £8.2 million into our roads through our new contract with Marlborough Highways.

This is on top of all the road investment we laid out in this year's budget and will ensure that we can catch up with the backlog of repairs and that routes are smooth, safe, and sound.
