It was wonderful to have the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Cllr John Lenton to officially open Victoria Park at the Broom Farm Estate. The event was attended by many local residents, including Cllrs Mike Airey and Ed Wilson and members of the armed forces.

Your councillors worked tirelessly with borough officers to achieve this great result for surrounding residents.

BOROUGH LOCAL PLAN

HAVE YOUR SAY!

Residents, businesses and any other interested parties are invited to have their say in the latest round of consultation on the Royal Borough’s draft Borough Local Plan.

Representations will be accepted from Friday 2 December to Friday 13 January in the consultation that enables people to make suggestions that can then be considered for incorporation into the plan.

The Borough Local Plan, once adopted, sets out the planning vision and objectives to guide development in the borough and ensure it helps build a borough for everyone.

The plan will allocate sites as well as guide development for housing, employment, retail, leisure and other forms of development in the area until 2032.

IMPORTANT! THE DRAFT PLAN INCLUDES PROPOSALS FOR 650 HOUSES TO THE WEST OF WINDSOR (BETWEEN WYEVALE & SQUIRES GARDEN CENTRES).

We will be making sure that residents know how to comment on this plan during the dates mentioned above. It is likely that we will also hold a public meeting on this matter as it will have a big impact on our area.

If you have any concerns or questions in the meantime, please get in touch with us.
