Now that Halloween has come to an end, we'd like to ask all customers to remove any pumpkins from outside their homes.

While they make great decorations, pumpkins can quickly start to rot and may attract rodents and other unwanted pests if left outside for too long.

Thank you for helping to keep your neighbourhood clean, safe and welcoming for everyone.

With Storm Austen expected to bring strong winds, heavy rain and possible flooding across the East Midlands, now is a good time to make sure you're prepared.

Weather experts have noted that El Niño can increase the likelihood of wetter and stormier conditions in the UK, making it even more important to plan ahead.

Flooding is rare, but taking a few simple steps can help protect your home, belongings and loved ones.

We also recommend checking that you have the right home contents insurance in place, especially as extreme weather becomes more unpredictable.

Find practical advice, useful contacts and our flood support resources here: https://www.ncha.org.uk/about-us/news/customer-news/flood-support-and-guidance

Being prepared can make all the difference.
