As the bustle of the summer holidays fades, September offers the chance to linger over the treasures on display throughout The Vyne. With the ground and first floors currently open daily from 11am to 3pm (subject to volunteer availability), visitors can enjoy the historic collection before the annual autumn deep clean sees it carefully draped in protective white sheets.

While you're here, don't miss the house-wide exhibition “Taste, Design, and the Georgian Gentleman” (daily until 1 November, 11am-3pm), exploring the life and legacy of Georgian owner John Chute and his vision for The Vyne's interiors.

Looking for a deeper dive? Join a ‘Taste, Design, & the Georgian Gentleman’ tour on Wednesdays and Saturdays until 1 November (3-4pm). Suggested donation £5 per person. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis from Visitor Reception.
