Did you know you can now make a voluntary donation to help improve BCP Libraries?

BCP Council continues to fund our library service, but donations provide an opportunity for those who’d like to contribute towards improvements to library buildings. Current fundraising efforts are focused on Charminster Library, which requires significant investment, though donors can also choose to support BCP libraries in general.

Half term is next week and there's so much going on in our libraries.

☔ Our drop-in activities are perfect for dodging the rain showers and there are some great scheduled events throughout the week, too.

It's proving very popular. We keep finding our library assistants sneaking off to read it!

You know how much we love a summer challenge, but to celebrate the National Year of Reading we've got an extra special summer challenge for you this year...

🚪24 local schools have created a beautiful wooden Story Door, based on their favourite book, and there's one hiding in each of our libraries... 👀

So while you're out and about this summer, why not explore a few libraries you might not normally visit, and see how many doors you can find!
