María Abando (Bilbao, 1959) ha conseguido que sus lámparas de lana, lana que ella misma esquila a sus ovejas mallorquinas, se hayan convertido en un icono solicitado por arquitectos de la talla del japonés Tadao Andō. La técnica que aprendió a través de tutoriales en YouTube se ha acabado convirtiendo en el sentido de su vida.

TRES ACORDES Y LA VERDAD.

El 8 de agosto de 2025, el cantautor Jaime Anglada (Palma, 1972) regresaba a su casa en moto, cuando un coche le embistió y su conductor se dio a la fuga, dejándolo tirado en la calle, al borde de la muerte. Durante los siguientes días, la moneda estuvo dando muchas vueltas a cámara lenta en el aire (un coma inducido, varias operaciones de urgencia, noticias poco esperanzadoras). Hasta que al final la moneda salió cara. Y hoy Jaime se siente un hombre afortunado que ha empezado a ver la vida con otros ojos.

On 8 August 2025, singer-songwriter Jaime Anglada (Palma, 1972) was riding his motorbike home when a car ran him over and the driver fled, leaving him lying half- dead in the street. Over the following days, the coin spun in slow motion many times, in mid-air – an induced coma, several emergency operations, news that held little hope... Until finally, the coin landed heads up. And today, Jaime feels like a lucky man who has begun to see life with new eyes.

DREI AKKORDE UND DIE WAHRHEIT.

Am 8. August 2025 war der Singer-Songwriter Jaime Anglada (Palma, 1972) mit dem Motorrad auf dem Weg nach Hause, als ihn ein Auto heftig erfasste und der Fahrer anschließend Fahrerflucht beging. Er ließ ihn mitten auf der Straße liegen, dem Tod nahe. In den darauffolgenden Tagen drehte sich die Münze in Zeitlupe unzählige Male in der Luft: ein künstlich herbeigeführtes Koma, mehrere Notoperationen, wenig hoffnungsvolle Nachrichten. Bis die Münze schließlich auf der richtigen Seite landete. Und heute fühlt sich Jaime wie ein glücklicher Mensch, der begonnen hat, das Leben mit anderen Augen zu sehen.

Marcel Giró (1913-2011) y Palmira Puig (1912-1979) se conocieron en Cataluña, pero, debido a la Guerra Civil, pasaron más de 30 años en Brasil. En 1953, durante uno de sus primeros viajes a España desde el exilio, visitaron Ibiza. Lo que no esperaban era encontrar una isla pura, de las que ya no existen. Y decidieron retratar aquella forma de vida, sus costumbres y su belleza.

MUJERES DE MODA. Durante una estancia en Nueva York el año 2013, Stefania Borrás (Palma, 1982) creó Datura, su firma de moda mediterránea. Para promocionar sus prendas pensó en algo diferente: contactar con mujeres a las que admiraba, para fotografiarlas en sus propios espacios y entornos, vistiendo sus diseños. El experimento acabó convirtiéndose en Member Styles, un proyecto inspirador y muy personal.

Um ihre Kleidungsstücke zu promoten, hatte sie eine andere Idee: Sie wollte Frauen kontaktieren, die sie bewunderte, um sie in ihren eigenen Räumen und Umgebungen zu fotografieren, gekleidet in ihren Designs.
