One of those less glamorous but very satisfying jobs on the farm. 🌱

Pulling back the silage tarps today and getting the garden beds ready for another season. Months of w**d suppression means cleaner beds, fewer w**ds, and a head start on planting.

Now the real fun begins. 🚜🌿

Foxfire Family Dinner 🍽️

Tonight’s Sunday supper comes straight from the farm:

-Heritage pork chops 🐖
-Chokecherry BBQ sauce from the pantry 🍒
-Fresh baked bread 🍞
-Asparagus from the garden 🌿
-Garden medley pickles from last years harvest 🫑🥕🧄
-Dandelion and nettle sauerkraut 🌼🌱

And some fresh cut flowers from the gardens 😍🌸🪻

A much-needed date night for Rachelle and I at 🍽️❤️

It's not often we get away for an evening, even if it's only down the road. Amazing food, great company, and a chance to slow down for a few hours... interrupted only by 6 phone calls from the kids to settle various disputes. 😅

Thanks to our friends at Farms for another wonderful evening. If you ever get the chance to attend one of their farm dinners, we highly recommend it!

🎶 Love is in the air... 🎶

Breeding season is underway here at Foxfire Heritage Farm as we start planning for our fall litters. If all goes according to plan, we'll have piglets hitting the ground just as the leaves begin to turn.

And with a full moon coming this Sunday, old farmers would tell you it's the perfect time to be thinking about breeding cycles and new life. 🌕🐖

Find us beside the former Beer Store on Main Street from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

This week we've brought: 🥓 Heritage pasture-raised pork 🌼 Homemade dandelion jelly 🥕 A limited selection of fresh vegetables

We're also excited to be showing off this beautiful vintage scale we recently picked up from We think it fits right in with the heritage feel of our farm and it will be joining us at market from now on. 😊
