As the summer comes to a close, we want to give a huge shoutout to our incredible Software Engineering students from the University of Waterloo!

Working closely with our Chief Operations Advisor, Harry Yang, our students brought fresh perspectives, tackled complex technical challenges, and made a lasting impact on our team at Maple Armor.

Thank you Julian Kim and Eric Nie for your hard work, dedication, and amazing energy this semester. We are so proud of everything you accomplished during your time with us, and we wish you the absolute best as you return to your studies!

We are thrilled to give you an exclusive look inside our state of the art facility, where cutting edge technology meets world class engineering.

From our welcoming front reception to our high capacity production floor, every square foot of Maple Armor is designed for precision, quality, and reliability. Our advanced technology lines and automated machinery ensure each of our products are manufactured to the highest global standards.

But technology is only half the story. Our dedicated team of engineers and technicians meticulously test each product using custom multi-point functional test fixtures to ensure our fire alarm and life safety systems perform flawlessly when it matters most.

We don’t just build equipment; we manufacture peace of mind.

On Friday, August 14, the Maple Armor team stepped away from the office and gathered for a summer company BBQ! ☀️🍔

It was a great opportunity to enjoy good food, connect with colleagues, and spend some time together outside of our day-to-day work. Events like these are a reminder that strong teams are built not only through the work we do, but through the relationships we build along the way.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organize the BBQ and to all who joined us. We’re grateful for the people who make Maple Armor such a great team to be part of!

Great conversations at Toronto Metropolitan University!

Our team had an energizing day at the TMU Career Fair, connecting with students who are passionate about building careers in fire and life safety. The questions were thoughtful, the energy was high, and we're impressed by the caliber of talent coming through TMU!

What stood out? Students want to understand the real impact of the work, not just job titles. They asked about project involvement, hands-on learning opportunities, and how they can make a difference in keeping communities safe. Those are exactly the conversations we love to have.
