Hear me out, a part of a house is... a house...? I know it's a stretch to fit the theme but I want a reason to talk about this book 😂

The House Across the Lake is my favourite Riley Sagar book and I've read a couple. This book follows a washed up actress trying to find peace at her family lake house with several bottle of liquor. She's watching her neighbours across the lake and is pretty sure she witnesses a murder (according to the several bottle of liquor) and becomes obsessed with figuring our what happened.

This book really leans into some supernatural elements and an unreliable narrator, which are always a hit for me. Anyways, read it so I can talk to someone about it 🙂
