Last night Botwood Fire hosted a SCBA training session at our training bunker utilizing our smoke generator. Departments from Peterview and Point Leamington also attended.

Tomorrow Wednesday June 17th starting at approximately 7:00PM members of Botwood Fire Department will be conducting training using one of the bunkers on Killick Island.

We will be using our smoke generator for this training the "Smoke" used is NON-TOXIC and poses no risk to the public. Therefore the walking trails on the island will remain open to the public.

Botwood Fire is all clear from Vessel in distress in Botwood Harbour. Canadian Coast Guard on scene and assisting vessel back to port. Unit 2 returned to hall.
