Vacy School would like to wish all our magnificent teachers a very happy World Teachers’ Day!

The dedication, passion and commitment you show to our students is truly phenomenal. From the countless hours spent planning, preparing and going above and beyond outside school hours, to creating engaging, inspiring and memorable learning experiences in the classroom, your hard work never goes unnoticed.

You make a difference every single day, shaping young minds, building confidence and inspiring a love of learning (all while wearing a thousand different hats!).

We are incredibly grateful for everything you do and the care you show our students and school community.

Thank you to each and every one of you. You are absolute superstars, and today we celebrate YOU! 💛🎉

🌉 History, adventure and a whole lot of excitement! 🏴‍☠️

Our Vacy Stage 2 students had an outstanding day exploring the historic streets of The Rocks with our fantastic guide from the Observatory Hill Environmental Centre!

Despite the early start, spirits were high as we made our way across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge at 9:30am, cheered on by the enthusiastic applause of our students. 👏

One of the biggest highlights of the day was stepping back in time aboard the convict ship, bringing our history learning to life in a truly memorable way! ⚓

A huge thank you to Mrs Greaves, Ms Dyer and Mr Smith for helping make this wonderful learning adventure such a success.

What a day of discovery, history and unforgettable memories! 💙

🏆 Congratulations, Jack, Koda and Sienna! 🏆

Our third student to represent the Hunter at State, Jack, did an absolutely amazing job! Competing in both the long jump and high jump, Jack gave it his all, showing the same determination, commitment and sportsmanship as Koda and Sienna.

Even more impressive, this is Jack’s second time making it to State this year alone! 👏 What an incredible achievement! Watch this space — we could have a future professional athlete in the making! 🌟

The staff and students at Vacy School would like to congratulate Jack, Koda and Sienna on their outstanding achievement in reaching the State level. Your dedication, perseverance and hard work, day in and day out, is something to be incredibly proud of.

You have shown us all that with determination, commitment and a willingness to give things your best, amazing opportunities can come your way.

Keep reaching for the stars, guys! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see what you achieve next! 💙💛
