Welcome back to YSA - Yowie Sightings Australia. In this episode, we share three intense witness reports, all linked to the Royal National Park south of Sydney. Whether it's an eerie silence on the park boundary or heavy tree knocks nearby, this region remains a major hotspot for Yowie activity.

Story 1: The Red Cedar Flat Encounter (2007)
"I’m not on Facebook, so I couldn't leave a report there, but you really should have a website! Back in 2007, my daughter and I were at the Red Cedar Flat Picnic Area off Lady Wakehurst Drive in the Royal National Park. We had an experience that absolutely terrified us. At the time, we had no idea what it was, but we knew we weren't alone in those woods."

Story 2: The Camp Site Terror (Circa 1980)
"Around 45 years ago, my best friend, her boyfriend, and his best mate were camping deep in the Royal National Park. During the night, they had an up-close encounter with a Yowie right at their campsite. It absolutely scared the life out of them! They managed to scramble into their car and flee, and to my knowledge, they were so shaken they never returned to the park again."

Story 3: Heathcote Road & The Park Boundary
This witness has had two chilling experiences around the Royal National Park:
The Tree Knocks: A while back, they heard massive, heavy tree knocks coming from the bush near Heathcote Road.

The Eerie Silence: More recently, while walking along the bush line right beside the Royal National Park at Heathcote, the entire forest went deathly quiet. They were left with an overwhelming, eerie feeling that something was watching them from the scrub.

I recently received an incredible report from a viewer about a series of encounters in Withcott, right near Toowoomba.
In this video, we dive into their story—from being pelted with football-sized rocks at a sandstone cave behind Clive Crescent to a terrifying sighting on the Toowoomba Range, where a massive creature cleared a double-lane highway in a single bound.
The most bizarre part? An encounter near Helidon Spa where a man stepped around what he thought was a tree trunk, only to find himself face-to-face with an 8-foot-tall 'mountain man'—and actually said 'G’day' to it!

Shadows of the Southeast: Cloaking Yowies and Forest Encounters

In this episode, we dive into a series of chilling Yowie reports from Southeast Queensland, ranging from a legendary 1988 encounter to a fresh report from just weeks ago.
The 1988 Browns Plains Sighting

Our lead story takes us back to 1988, just off the Mount Lindesay Highway near the Logan Motorway. A local resident was out early for a routine walk with his dog before school when the morning took a surreal turn. After spotting what appeared to be an unusually huge pig, he came face-to-face with something far more inexplicable: an 8-foot-tall Yowie. Most unsettling was the witness’s description of the creature’s "cloaking" ability—he could only see half of the massive frame, as if it were partially camouflaged or transparent.

Terror in Karawatha Forest
The mystery continues just down the road at Karawatha Forest. We have heard reports of four kids who were camping in the area when they spotted a Yowie and, in a moment of pure panic, began throwing rocks at the creature. Additionally, there are accounts from three years ago involving an encounter with a rare White Yowie in this same dense bushland.

Recent Activity in Riverview
Finally, we bring the investigation into the present. Only three weeks ago (late March 2026), a new sighting was reported near Riverview Primary School near Ipswich. A witness described a shaggy, brown-black creature standing 8 to 9 feet tall with broad shoulders and a cone-shaped head. As urban areas expand into the scrub, it seems these elusive beings are being seen more than ever.

Are these creatures masters of camouflage, or is there something even more paranormal at play?

They’re everywhere….got approached in Eungella national park at 7:00pm whilst canoeing in the dam.
