Years 3–6 Sports Days – Next Thursday & Friday!

Families and friends are welcome to come along and cheer on our students as they compete and show their house spirit.

Please note that event times are approximate and may change throughout the day.

High jump heats and 200m sprint heats have already been completed during HPE lessons.

Uniform Reminder

A friendly reminder to our Clinton State School families about our school uniform expectations.

Students are expected to wear:
✅ Bottle green school shirt
✅ Bottle green shorts, skort or skirt
✅ Black and/or white enclosed shoes or joggers
✅ Bottle green, black or plain white socks
✅ Appropriate bottle green, black or white headwear

As the weather cools down, students may wear:

-Bottle green cardigan, jumper, skivvy or trackpants

❌ Please note: Hoodies are not part of the school uniform.

Our school uniform helps promote a sense of belonging, school pride and safety. Thank you for supporting your child to come to school dressed in the correct uniform each day.

Sports House and Representative Shirts (Port Curtis, Capricornia and Combined Schools Musical) may be worn on Fridays.

As we move into the cooler winter months, we would like to remind families that students should not bring over-the-counter medications to school, including cough lollies, lozenges, paracetamol, cold and flu medications, and other similar remedies.

If your child requires medication during school hours, please contact the Front Office to discuss the appropriate medical authorisation and documentation requirements. Please see Education Queensland OTC Medication Policy below.

Junior Sports Day is happening next Wednesday, 3rd June!

We can't wait to see our Prep to Year 2 students showing off their teamwork, sportsmanship and house spirit. Families are welcome to come along and cheer on our young athletes throughout the day.

Please note that event times are tentative and may vary depending on how quickly activities progress throughout the day.

Don't forget your hat, water bottle and house colours! 💧👒🏅

Our Year 3A & 3B students had a fantastic time at the BIEEC Life Detectives Excursion yesterday!

Students explored the natural environment, investigated local ecosystems, and became real-life scientists for the day. It was wonderful to see their curiosity, teamwork and enthusiasm as they discovered more about the world around them.

A big thank you to the staff and volunteers who helped make this valuable learning experience possible!
