🌟 A DAY OF HOPE, HEARTS, AND SHARED PURPOSE 🌟
The Rose of Sharon family had the distinct honour of welcoming His Worship, Michel Mataruka, Mayor of Ruwa Local Board, together with Honourable Councillors and members of his delegation to our home.
This was more than a courtesy visit.
It was a moment of connection.
A moment when leadership stepped beyond offices and boardrooms and walked directly into the lives of the children who represent the future of our community.
As His Worship toured our facilities, interacted with our children, and shared smiles, conversations, and words of encouragement, something beautiful happened. Our children felt seen. They felt valued. They felt that their dreams matter.
From the youngest child taking their first steps toward a brighter future to the university students preparing to become doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers, and leaders, the message was clear:
The community believes in them.
At Rose of Sharon, we often say that every child deserves an opportunity, not sympathy; empowerment, not pity; hope, not despair. Today's visit reaffirmed that belief.
His Worship's willingness to spend time with our children, listen to their stories, and witness firsthand the transformation taking place within our home and school speaks volumes about his commitment to the people of Ruwa.
