The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) held a Taxpayer Awareness Breakfast Meeting on 7 August 2026. The event was part of ZIMRA's ongoing efforts to enhance taxpayer education and awareness, fostering better relationships with taxpayers and encouraging compliance within the community.

Key attendees included Regional Manager, Mrs. Gamuchirai Makwangudze, and Station Manager, Mrs. Ruth Sandada, who engaged with participants throughout the session. Both managers reaffirmed ZIMRA's commitment to supporting taxpayers by addressing their concerns, simplifying tax processes, and providing necessary guidance to ensure clarity on tax obligations.

ZIMRA Engages Stakeholders on Tax and Trade Facilitation at Lowveld Agricultural Show

Today, the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) held a stakeholder Breakfast Meeting on the sidelines of the Lowveld Agricultural Show in Chiredzi, hosted at Clevers Hotel.

The engagement provided an important platform for ZIMRA to interact with members of the business community, farmers and other stakeholders, sharing insights on recent changes in tax legislation, as well as key developments and requirements relating to trade facilitation.

The meeting underscored ZIMRA’s commitment to keeping taxpayers and stakeholders informed, strengthening compliance, simplifying processes and facilitating legitimate trade. Through such engagements, ZIMRA continues to listen to stakeholder concerns, provide clarity on emerging issues and promote a better understanding of the tax and customs environment.
