In line with its commitment to disability mainstreaming and inclusion, Bikita District conducted its first quarterly Disability Inclusion Meeting of 2026, which centered on selecting members for the District Disability Executive Committee and continuing preparations for the National Disability Expo, scheduled for June 24 to 26, 2026, at Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo.

1. Silvera Road Grading
The Silvera Road grading project, spanning from the tarred road via Silvera Mission to Magurwe Primary School, has reached completion.
_Impact:_ This development has yielded improved access for the students, teaching staff, and the community at large.

2. Borehole Drilling
- *Magurwe Primary School:* The drilling of the borehole has been finalized, and the school now has a functional water supply, catering to 600 students.
- *Charamba Primary School:* The drilling project is presently ongoing, aiming to support the school's enrollment of 350 students.
