ZAQA Engages Higher Learning Institutions

The Zambia Qualifications Authority today held a productive stakeholder consultative meeting with higher learning institutions aimed at strengthening collaboration and improving efficiency in the management and implementation of qualifications and standards in the education sector.

The meeting was officially opened by Mr. Brian Makufele , Director Higher Education at the Ministry of Education.

Mr. Makufele emphasized the importance of continuous engagement between regulators and institutions of higher learning in enhancing quality education and fostering national development.

Speaking during the meeting, Mercy Ngoma outlined the roadmap and vision for ZAQA, highlighting key priorities focused on improving service delivery, streamlining processes, and ensuring the Authority remains responsive to the needs of stakeholders.

The consultative meeting provided a valuable platform for dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and building stronger partnerships as ZAQA continues working towards an efficient and effective qualifications framework.

A team from the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) today paid a courtesy call on the Southern Province Permanent Secretary, Dr. Namani Monze, as part of the commencement of its outreach sensitisation programme in the province.
