Association of the Indian Community in Zambia
AICZ was established in 2018 as non-profit, non-partisan and non-religious organization of Zambians of Indian origin residing in Zambia. AICZ is recognised by the Government of the Republic of Zambia through Ministry of Home Affairs and The Indian High Commission in Lusaka.
AICZ is mandated by the Indian community to provide support to the community through the association by engaging with relevant stakeholders and also seek to assist the community with legal matters that may arise.
Among other objectives, AICZ looks to educate members of the community on the Zambian legal framework and the Constitution and to encourage adherence to the laws of the land. The organization seeks to encourage the participation of the Indian Community in the development of Zambia.
