Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security, Mr. Dickson Matembo, today toured the Ministry's exhibition stand at the ongoing 98th Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show, which is being held under the theme "Fostering Trade and Investment."

During the tour, Mr. Matembo interacted with members of staff exhibiting at the stand and commended them for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to effectively showcasing the Ministry's mandate and the critical services it provides to the public.
The Permanent Secretary emphasized the importance of the Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show as a strategic platform for engaging citizens and stakeholders, enhancing public awareness, and demonstrating the Ministry's role in promoting national security, public safety, and efficient service delivery.

Mr. Matembo further noted that the Ministry's participation in this year's Show reflects Government's commitment to supporting national development by fostering stronger partnerships with the private sector and the public. He underscored the significance of creating a secure and stable environment that facilitates trade, investment, and sustainable economic growth.

The Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security remains committed to delivering people-centred services and strengthening collaboration with stakeholders in support of Zambia's development agenda.

Mr Matembo later toured the Department of Immigration, Zambia Correctional Services and Zambia Police stands.

The Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security is proud to be participating in this year's 98th Agricultural and Commercial Show, held under the theme:

"Fostering Trade and Investment."

This morning, our stand was visited by a team of judges as part of the exhibition assessments.

The show officially opened today and will run until 3 August 2026. We invite members of the public to visit our stand, conveniently located opposite the ZNBC stand.
