Dr. Felix Musukubili, Commissioner of the National Youth Service of Namibia, and his delegation paid a courtesy call on High Commissioner Goms Menette on 23 July 2026. The delegation is currently in Lusaka to undertake a South-South and Triangular Cooperation Exchange Learning Mission on Home Grown School Feeding strategy, from 21 to 27 June 2026. The delegation includes senior government officials from NPC, MEIYSAC, and MAWLR.

High Commissioner Goms Menette today took an opportunity to engage Captain Josias Walubita, Director of Flight Operations at Proflight Zambia, on marketing strategies for the direct flight service between Lusaka and Windhoek. Proflight Zambia operates a direct flight route connecting Lusaka and Livingstone to Windhoek, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

On 11 June 2026 the Namibian High Commission in Lusaka participated in the African Freedom Day celebration organized by the African diplomatic Missions accredited to the Republic of Zambia. The High Commission used the opportunity to promote Namibian beer, beef and other meat products.

High Commissioner Goms Menette together with Mr. Sebulon Chicalu, CEO of the Namibia Tourism Board (NTB), marketed and promoted Namibia as a preferred travel destination for tourism and leisure during the Zambia Travel Expo (ZATEX) that started on 4 June 2026 in Lusaka. The ZATEX ends 6 June 2026.
