I don't take alcohol and I never will. I don't even drink anything that says "Non alcoholic." I don't go to music concerts. My whole life I have never paid or bought a ticket to hear any musician sing. Friday and weekends mean nothing to me. There's nothing special about a long weekend.
However, I never stand in judgement of those that take alcohol or party or go out late in the night. Infact, almost all of my closest friends take alcohol and sometimes in my presence. I don't judge others because there are things I do and enjoy that others swear they can never do. We are all engineered differently. A student at UNZA can invest in Uncle T's business over the entire long weekend and still get an A in an exam on Tuesday while the "holier than thou" student will study all weekend and kiss dust in the same exam.
Our approach to life is different. There are people who you think will never amount to anything in life because every time you see them they are either about to get drunk or they are drunk or they are recovering from being drunk. Never make the mistake of judging people based on what your eyes see. You have no idea what they do at other times of the day, the week, the month or the year.
Just live your life and even the bible urges you to "mind your business" (1 Thessalonians 4:11).
Remember that we are all headed towards success but our methods of getting there are different.
