Last evening, officers at the local authority organised a surprise send-off party for the Council Secretary Mr. Mwiche I Mudala.

The party was held to Celebrate the good working time with CS for almost 4 years at the local authority taking over in 2022. CS will be transitioning to another Council as he continues to serve mother Zambia and Chitambo will greatly miss him.

Chitambo Local Authority through the immediate former Council Secretary Mr Mwiche I Mudala has fulfilled its pledge made on 22nd March 2026 to donate a full satrlink Network set.

The Council Secretary made a commitment in March to help the facility with easy research by providing fast network when he together with Chitambo management visited the teachers resource centre to appreciate its existence.

Management at Chitambo Council expresses its profound gratitude to Council Secretary, Mr. Mwiche I. Mudala, for his dedication to service at the institution for nearly four years.

Under his leadership, the district recorded remarkable development. These include the installation of streetlights, construction of health facilities, classroom blocks, desks, procurement of earthmoving equipment, procurement of desks, and the construction of the council truck park bay, as well as empowerment programs and many other notable works that will continue to speak for him even after he leaves the local authority.

Management is convinced that CS. Mwiche I. Mudala will prosper at his new work station. We wish him well as he transitions to another council.

Earlier today, our friends from the east got a fair share of baby powder from fellow Bemba officers in the acts nationwide called Ichimbuya in bemba and (Chimbuya in the east language). This has been necessitated by the passing of His Royal Highness, Paramount Chief of The Ngoni people, Chief Mpezeni IV.

On the pictures, Public Relations Officer Rodrick Nyirenda, Chief Administration officer Webster Kayombo Water Coordinator Moffat Mugala among others, got their fair share.
