On this occasion of Kulamba Traditional Ceremony, I join millions of Chewa people across the region to celebrate the rich heritage.

Let Kulamba remind us of 3 things:

1. Unity: We are stronger together as one people;

2. Peace: Let us resolve differences through dialogue and respect for our traditions;

3. Development: Let us use this gathering to talk about schools, clinics, roads and jobs for our youth

I salute His Majesty Kalonga Gawa Undi and all traditional leaders for keeping our culture alive.

Dear Voters,

As we approach election day, tomorrow, 13th August, 2026, I send you greetings of peace and goodwill.

Your vote is powerful. It decides the future of our schools, health centers, Various Social Protection Facilities (Social Cash Transfer, Cash for Work, FISP among others) water, roads, and jobs for our children.

I urge you to:

1. Vote peacefully - Let us disagree without being enemies. In the last 5 Years we have worked together in unity regardless of our political or religious affiliations. The Party regalia in markets never mattered. We all went about to do our businesses. Thanks Mr. President, Hakainde Hichilema .

2. Vote wisely - Choose leaders of integrity, service and vision. In this regard, Rebuilding the economy has been a daunting task but we as a people under proper leader of President Hakainde Hichilema, managed NOT just to Rebuild but transforming the economy, posting a positive economic growth. Sustaining this economic growth means sustaining and maintaining the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema.
