The West Coast NGO Forum was called into life to empower West Coast based NGO's, NPC's, NPO's CBO's, FBO's and SMME's within the five Municipalities of the West Coast.

The primary focus and drive of the West Coast NGO Forum is to:
- Facilitate Community Social Participation
- Facilitate Community Capacity Interventions
- Facilitate Inter-NGO Management Linkage processes
- Research best practices for Community Development with participating NGO's

The West Coast NGO Forum will cover the following Capacity Development:
- NPO Management and Quality Management
-Financial Management
-Fundraising for Non-Profit Organizations
-Marketing Management
-Project Management
-Skills Development Management
-ICT Skills Development
-Labor Law and Legislation
