The Executive Mayor of Vhembe District Municipality, Cllr. Miyelani Chauke, received sporting equipment for football, netball, and rugby from the District Director for Sport, Arts and Culture, Mr Thagalu Thovhakale.

The equipment will be distributed to Vhembe teams in the community through tournaments ,this donation will support youth development and bring communities together through sport.

The Executive Mayor takes this bold step which will in turn provide the lasting solution to the challenges faced by the people of Tshakhuma.

The Executive Mayor of Vhembe District Municipality Cllr Chauke Miyelani attended and addressed the Vhembe District Pastors Forum South Africa Prayer Day held in Thohoyandou's Christian Worship Centre.

The prayer session which brought together leadership of the Christian fraternity under one roof was convened for the sole purpose of rediscovering and aligning the community with the strategic faith based organization under the stewardship of pastors and their churches.

Water 💦 challenges at Makhado Park have been resolved, a burst main line pipe around Eltivililas has been fixed, the community of Makhado Park and Makhado Park Extension are getting water from Moiwkop Reservoir supplied by the Albasini Water Treatment Plant.
