Celebrating 110 Years of Service, Compassion and Community
Tomorrow, 16 June, StellCARE celebrates a remarkable milestone – 110 years of serving children, families and communities.
Over the past century and beyond, our organisation has evolved through different names and changing times, yet our purpose has remained unchanged: to serve those in need with dignity, compassion, professionalism and integrity. Throughout our history, we have remained independent, impartial and committed to serving all people, regardless of race, religion, political affiliation, culture or circumstance.
This milestone is not only a celebration of StellCARE, but also of the countless individuals, communities, partners and stakeholders who have walked this journey with us. Together, we have responded to challenges, protected vulnerable children, strengthened families, empowered communities and created opportunities for hope and healing.
As we reflect on 110 years of service, we honour those who laid the foundations before us, those who currently carry the responsibility of service, and those who will continue this work into the future. Our achievements belong not to a single organisation, but to every community member, volunteer, donor, partner, government department, colleague and beneficiary who has contributed to building stronger and more caring communities.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with all communities and stakeholders as we work together towards a future where every child is protected, every family is supported, and every community has the opportunity to thrive.
