Our team at Forest Village Leadership Academy in Eerste River shared:

"We are excited to share the success of our recent session on menstrual health at FVLA.

What began as a need identified during last term's management committee meeting became a reality this week.

Through a collaboration with the NPO Period Poverty, our girls engaged in a vital conversation about hygiene, product types, and affordability. The session was powerful for the girls, and they interacted well with the speaker.

Well done to our First Responder, Loreal, for expertly utilizing the “R” (Referral) in our CARE model. By connecting with specialists outside of our immediate scope, we ensured our students received the best possible support.

Beyond the educational session and a donation of sanitary pads, the speaker made an announcement: FVLA has been selected to receive a sanitary pad vending machine for both students and female staff!

A huge thank you to the school for sponsoring the initial donation, and to Period Poverty for investing in the dignity of our learners."

- Cape Town (central)

- Stellenbosch (Jamestown)

This is a one day course from 8:30am - 3pm.
To be invited, please complete the online training modules before Thursday, 28 May.
Your invitation to attend the in-person training course will include all the details and the name of the venue.
Invitations will be sent out on Thursday, 28 May.
We will have eight ( 8 ) job opportunities for Care Facilitators this year and completion of the course is a pre-requisite to apply. See less
