In celebration of World Environment Day, we hosted an engaging Eco Reader Reading Programme where children explored the importance of environmental awareness through stories and interactive learning activities.♻️🌍

The children were also introduced to Manzi, the water-saving mascot, and were taught valuable lessons about conserving water and protecting this precious resource.🌍💧

As part of the reading programme, the children learned about our library's Heritage Tree, discovering the vital role trees play in supporting biodiversity, improving air quality, and creating a healthier environment for future generations.🌳🌍

It was a wonderful week of learning, discovery, and inspiring young minds to become eco warriors.

Together, we can make a difference for our planet! 🌍❤️

Our library came alive with color and imagination as participants created beautiful nature-inspired artworks using flowers, leaves, and other natural materials.

Empowering young minds through digital literacy! 🖥✨️

We explored what it means to be a responsible digital citizen and learned how their online actions can have a lasting impact through their digital footprint.

We also introduced the children to the Libby App app, showing them how they can access thousands of free eBooks and audiobooks using their library membership.

In addition, they learned about PressReader , a fantastic resource that provides free access to newspapers and magazines from around the world.

It was inspiring to see the children sharing ideas, asking questions, and learning practical ways to navigate the digital world safely.
