Diep River Community Police Forum The CPF is a group of people from different areas within our precinct that works in bridging the gap between SAPS and the community

Every resident and business owner that falls within the Diep River precinct who wishes to become part of the SOLUTION AGAINST CRIME in our area is encouraged to become actively involved in the Community Police Forum. What can you do to become part of making a difference against CRIME? Diep River has a large part of the Valley it looks after- they are: Southfield, Plumstead, Diep River, Meadowridge

, Steurhof and Constantia.

1. Become an active member in your Neighbourhood Watch in your area
2. Attend the relevant meetings
3. Contribute in whichever way possible, through time, skills or financial contributions and donations.
4. Always be alert, be the "eyes and ears" of SAPS and report suspicious behaviour

Your active involvement and commitment will give you the opportunity to offer your unique skills and resources in the collective fight against crime, towards our safety and security. Crime is a community challenge and requires a community driven solution!

Today our CPF ladies had the privilege and opportunity to join our SAPS ladies in a teambuilding workshop held by EHW at the wonderful IPA Cape Town - Timour Hall Villa. It was an important step to rebuilding the framework that is necessary in the productivity and efficiency of the station. There were various activities and discussions around how important it is to listen as well as communicate.
Just thought we would share some pictures of the fun that we all had...from youngest to oldest.
We need to say a huge Thank you💙 as always to our 2 faithful supporters Pick n Pay Plumstead and My SPAR Prospur for the generous donations of foods to compliment the day.

Today was a day with a difference
We were the hosts of an event that is part of the SAPS Womens Network Wynberg Sub District Calendar. August was Diep Rivers turn and the station decided to do a SAPS Womens Roadblock, especially considering August is Womens Month. The CPF provided the refreshments before the roadblock. Our Station Commander addressed all the ladies at a briefing and we set off.

We were blessed with a beautiful sunny wind free day to hand out crime awareness pamphlets.
Thank you to all those SAPS members who participated from across the Sub District.

Thank you to our Sector Commanders and CPU members as well as to all the Metro Police who assisted too.
