Traffic Freeflow owns and manages the Pointsmen Project operating in the Cities of Johannesburg and Tshwane. We alleviate traffic congestion by providing highly trained, dedicated and passionate pointsmen. The initiative, having launched in 2005, is undisputedly South Africa’s most successful and longest running Public-Private Partnerships. The project is a collaboration between the Metro Police
Departments (JMPD and TMPD), the Cities and Johannesburg and Tshwane and Private Enterprise, namely OUTsurance, who remains the launch and largest sponsor of the initiative. Additional sponsors allow for the continual growth of the project.
