📖 Daily ingestion of the word of God - 1 April 2025 | 5785 📖

*There is power in his name*

Who is Jesus? He is the one who conquerored the graves. He is one who healed the blind and the sick. He is the one who spoke to a co**se and it had no choice but to be filled with life again.

So we know who Jesus is, but do we understand the power his name holds? Many use the name of Jesus but do not fully understand the power that lies behind that name.

It is the name before which all demons tremble. It is the name before which all principalities bow down. It is the name before which all the heavens bow. It is the name that holds all power and authority over life and death.

*Philippians 2:9-11*
_As a result God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father._

Therefore go forth today knowing the power that lies behind the name of Jesus.

My Lord, I declare that every person around me, every person within the BataLion platform, within Lionsgate and myself be filled with holy fire today and the boldness to declare the name of Jesus everywhere I go. I bind every agent of evil that is trying to stop me today and I command them to burn by unquenchable fire in the mighty and powerful and Holy name of Jesus. Amen

*Great is the latter reign*🙌🏼💪🏻🔥

*Haggai 2:9*
_The future splendor of this temple will be greater than that of former times,” the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has declared. “And in this place I will give peace,” decrees the Lord of Heaven’s Armies._

How can the latter reign be greater than the former? Surely there are none in this time that can compare to the power of Moses, Elijah and Ezekiel? The reason this reign is greater than the first is because whenever there is much evil there is much grace as well.

Though there is much sin on the face of the earth and evil rushes to destroy all that is of God. We must remember that with all the evil and debauchery going on in the word today, God has given us equivalent grace to overcome.

1️⃣ Declare the good news to every person you see and speak to.
2️⃣ Remain prayed up so that you may have the power of God within you.
3️⃣ Praise the Lord for us being in the greatest reign.

Father, glory to your mighty name. May all the creatures of the earth declare you are holy. Provide us oh Lord with your grace to smite all evil that comes near to us. Let the wrath of the Lord wax hot upon every evil entity and agent that continuously does evil. In Jesus Mighty name we pray. Amen

Daily ingestion of the word of God - 29 March 2025 | 5785 📖

*Consistency*

As we all should know by now, consistency is the second pillar of the kingdom of God right after the first pillar being dependability.

One of the biggest problems in today is that people do the right thing and they are fiery in their prayer life for today or a week, but they do not remain consistent with doing the right thing.

*1 Corinthians 15:58*
_Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord._

A man of God once told prophet Mac The-Lion, "doing the right thing does not bring about change, it is doing the right thing long enough that will bring change.

We must stay consistent if we want to ever see the fruits of our labour. If a seed is not watered daily it will wither and die. Are you watering your faith daily with the word of God?

1️⃣ Do not concern yourself with evil men achieving success, focus on doing God's work on the earth because the evil will have their reward for their evil ways.
2️⃣ No matter what the days may bring. Make sure to not neglect your prayer time. That you may remain refreshed in God.
3️⃣ Do good even when others around you are not.

Lord, I shall remain consistent with everything that I do that is of you. Let all things that are contradictory to your word be cut off and burnt by holy fire. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

ABRAHAM’S LIFE OF FAITH.

Hebrews 11:8. “He went out, not knowing where he was going.”

In the Old Testament, a person’s relationship with God was seen by the degree of separation in that person’s life. This separation is exhibited in the life of Abraham by his separation from his country and his family. When we think of separation today, we do not mean to be literally separated from those family members who do not have a personal relationship with God, but to be separated mentally and morally from their viewpoints. This is what Jesus Christ was referring to in Luke 14:26.

Living a life of faith means never knowing where you are being led. But it does mean loving and knowing the One who is leading. It is literally a life of faith, not of understanding and reason – a life of knowing Him who calls us to go. Faith is rooted in the knowledge of a Person, and one of the biggest traps we fall into is the belief that if we have faith, God will surely lead us to success in the world.

The final stage of the life of faith is the attainment of character, and we encounter many changes in the process. We feel the presence of God around us when we pray, yet we are only momentarily changed. We tend to keep going back to our everyday ways and the glory vanishes. A life of faith is not a life of one glorious mountaintop experience after another, like soaring on eagle’s wings, but is a life of day -in and day- out consistency; a life of walking without fainting (see Isaiah 40:31). It is not even a question of the holiness of sanctification, but of something which comes much farther down the road. It is a faith that has been tried and proved and has withstood the test. Abraham is not a type or example of the holiness of sanctification, but a type of the life of faith – a faith tested and true, built on the true God. “Abraham believed God”. (Romans 4:3)

Daily Admonition of the Spirit - 25 March 2025 | 5785 📖

*The Fear of God is wisdom*

The bible tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. That we are to fear the Lord our God.

*Proverbs 9:10*
_The beginning of wisdom is to fear the Lord, and acknowledging the Holy One is understanding._

Why does the bible say that we should fear God,.but then it also talks about how fear is not of God. The reason is because the fear that it is talking about is reverence. We are meant to revere God. In the same way that you might revere your father and fear the discipline as a result of your disobedience towards him.

*Hebrews 12:6*
_for whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth.”_

1️⃣ Love God with all of your heart, mind and soul.
2️⃣ Realise that even though God is love, he is the supreme ruler of the heavens and the earth.
3️⃣ Read the word and see what the Lord is capable of that the fear of him may be within you.

MARCH 20
GOD CARES.

Romans 5:5. (The Message). We can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through Holy Spirit.

We don’t live by faith by reading a rule book, or following a map, or working through a career development program, or following the arrows. We do not begin with things, or pieces of paper, or ideas, or feelings, or deeds or successes. We begin with God. We dare to believe that God is the reality beyond and beneath and around all things, visible and invisible, and that He provides for us and loves and blesses and saves us.

Daily ingestion of the word of God - 19 March 2025 / 5785 📖

*Stay there*⛰️⏳✋🏻

So many people do not stay in God's presence long enough. After a long time of waiting they lose faith. We know with certainty that God will do as he has spoken, now we must remain sure until the day we receive that which we have asked in his name.

Some times there will be delays while you are waiting, but those delays are not because God does not want to fulfil what you have asked for, at times there can be enemies blocking the angels from delivering that which you have been praying for. This is made evident in the book of Daniel.

*Daniel 10:13*
_But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia._

What will happen if you do not tarry in prayer and you go somewhere else without God giving you instructions to go? You will end up not getting the things you have been asking for, because if a delivery delivers your package to where you are and finds you are not there anymore. He will take the package back to headquarters so that the package does not get stolen by anyone.

In the same way if an angel does not find you in the place where you have been tarrying and are supposed to be, he will take the package back to God so that it does not get stolen by the enemy.

You must stay in God's presence long enough!

1️⃣ Don't look at how others have received their prayer request, focus on tarrying in prayer and yours shall come.
2️⃣ Remind yourself of the story of Daniel if you begin to feel down.
3️⃣ Begin to thank God for fulfilling the request even though you haven't received it yet.

My God, I know with certainty that all which I have asked in your name shall come to pass. I shall remain planted where you have placed me and shall be as mount zion that cannot be moved at all. With trust and patience will I diligently tarry. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

DAILY DEVOTIONAL
MARCH 17th
EARNESTLY SEEKING TO BE TAUGHT BY THE SPIRIT.

“These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1 Corinthians 2:13.
PRAYER:
Lord, help me to understand Your voice more clearly, that I may be taught by You always. I choose to surrender to You now in this so that I can grow in the Spirit and be taught by You at all times.

Are you being taught by the Spirit? What has He taught you lately? Everything in your walk with Christ must be taught to you by the Spirit. When you read your Bible, learn to spend more time listening to God than you do thinking. Some Christians seem to have a habit of listening to their own thoughts while reading the word, rather than paying attention to how the Scriptures jump out at them and relate to their life.

When the Scriptures seem to come alive, this is when the Spirit is speaking. Memorize and meditate on those portions. Grow in them, for they are practical lessons for today. As you do this continually, each lesson will be like a brick in a foundation that the Spirit will use as a basis of comparison for future lessons. Thus will He bring you to a fuller and greater understanding of His word, through intricately woven lessons of faith.

Daily ingestion of the word of God - 14 March 2025 / 5785 📖

*To forgive is to let go*

Bitterness and resentment is a problem often overlooked by most Christians and we often forget the command of forgiveness. That we are to forgive those that have wronged us.

Now how is forgiveness meant to be done? To know this we go to Hebrews 8:12 where we are told that God will remember no more their sins and lawless deeds. When someone has done us wrong and we claim to have forgiven them for their actions, we cannot keep bringing what they have done back to the surface and getting angry about it.

*Hebrews 8:12*
_For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”_

We also know from Matthew 6:15, that we must forgive otherwise God cannot forgive us, hence why the prayer jesus prayed contains "and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who have trespassed against us."

Matthew 6:15
But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

📝 _*Action Steps*_
1️⃣ Release your bitterness and resentment to the Lord and declare them forgiven by Jesus name.
2️⃣ Do not keep harbouring on about what they did to you. As the saying goes, "forgive and forget." Forgetting being you to not bring it up constantly.
3️⃣ Remember that even though what they might have done might have been the most horrible thing, God still loves them and you are to love them as well.

Lord, I forgive all those that have trespassed against me and I release every resentment I might have towards that person. They are now forgiven and blessed by Jesus holy name. Amen

📖 Daily ingestion of the word of God - 13 March 2025 / 5785 📖

*Joy*

As we have come to understand, happiness is not a fruit of the spirit whereas joy is a fruit of the spirit. What is the difference between joy and happiness. Happiness is when you are happy about receiving something or something happened to you. And example is when you receive a new phone that you have been wanting for a long time you are happy.

*Galatians 5:22-23*
_But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law._

Joy is not rooted in what you get or what happens to you. It is rooted in God the source of all creation. No matter what might happen to us we can be joyful knowing that he is our source.

We are all meant to be filled with joy as our Father is filled with joy.

1️⃣ Spend time with the one who is the source of all joy. All things that are of God starts with spending time with him.
2️⃣ Always maintain a spirit of gratitude for what he has done for you.
3️⃣ Rejoice in him daily.

*Faith*🙏🏻🙇🏻‍♂️

*Hebrews 11:1*
_Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen._

Most of us are familiar with this verse and the concept of faith, but do we truly understand what it takes to actually have faith?

Faith is the trust in God that what he has spoken shall come to pass, no matter what might happen in your life.

So we know what faith is, now how do we exercise it? Whenever we are charged with life from a word of God, be it written in his word or spoken by a true man of God. The moment you receive that word there is life that is deposited within your spirit and with that life you now need to act. Once you have begun to act you are using your faith.

*James 2:17*
_Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead._

📝 _*Action Steps*_
1️⃣ When you feel the life of God coursing through your body, go and act while you still have that fire. For it will fade over time.
2️⃣ Trust God with the small things first before you get to the big things. For if your faith does not work for the small things it will not work for the big things
3️⃣ Thank him constantly for all the good that he has done in your life.

My Lord, I lay everything down at your feet and trust you fully. Let my faith come to the point where it brings you pleasure. It is my deepest desire to bring pleasure to your heart my God. In you alone I have faith in. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

DAILY DEVOTION FOR MARCH 11
Obedience to the “Heavenly vision”
Acts 26:19. “I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.”

If we lose “the heavenly vision” God has given us, we alone are responsible – not God. We lose the vision because of our own lack of spiritual growth. If we do not apply our beliefs about God to the issues of everyday life, the vision God has given us will never be fulfilled. The only way to be obedient to “the heavenly vision” is to give our utmost for His highest – our best for His glory. This can be accomplished only when we make a determination to continually remember God’s vision. But the acid test is obedience to the vision in the details of our everyday life – sixty seconds out of every minute and sixty minutes out of every hour, not just during times of personal prayer or public meetings.

“Though it tarries, way for it” (Habakkuk 2:3). We cannot bring the vision to fulfilment through our own efforts, but must live under its inspiration until it fulfils itself. We try to be so practical that we forget the vision. At the very beginning we saw the vision but did not wait for it. We rushed off to do our practical work, and once the vision was fulfilled we could no longer even see it. Waiting for a vision that “tarries” is the true test of our faithfulness to God. It is at the risk of our own soul’s welfare that we get caught up in practical busy-work, only to miss the fulfilment of the vision.
Watch for the storms of God. The only way God plants His saints is through the whirlwind of His storms. Will you be proven to be an empty pod with no seed inside? That will depend on whether or not you are actually living in the light of the vision you have seen. Let God send you out through His storm, and don’t go until He does. If you select your own spot to be planted, you will prove yourself to be an unproductive, empty pod. However, if you allow God to plant you, you will “bear much fruit” (John 15:8). It is essential that we live and “walk in the light” of God’s vision for us (1 John 1:7).
