South African Students’ Congress Bojanala Region halloa all revolutionary forces and students’ populace across the region, as we continue to resuscitate students’ movement to its glorious times in the same spirit of renewal, modernise and reposition.
The regional executive committee welcomes all new enrolling undergraduate students and wish them successfulness towards their registrations processes in the higher institution of learning and training both the universities and TVET Sectors. “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” Malcolm X
REC urged all students to make SASCO closest friend as it has complete assurance that you would never go wrong. We must all continue pursuing the battle of our academic excellence in this year of the ANC stalwarts Cde Harry Mphephethwa Gwala’s 100 years centenary by ensuring that education becomes fashionable and relate to societal challenges so to be addressed.
Cde Harry Gwala as one of battalion of the struggle remains as protagonist whom shall be proud of the current and future generation after emancipate themselves through intellectualism. “He, who opens a school door, closes a prison”

On Right to Learn Campaign
All Branches and Regional Executive Committee urged to ensure that, they are on the ground level to assist general students’ populace to access the institution of their choice. “Treat your men as you would do your own beloved sons and they will follow you into the deepest valley” Sun Tzu. Lets’ all contribute on emancipating our people from various communities of platinum belt district.
In this pivotal campaign we call upon the MDM structures and PYA structures in particular as allies to meaningfully support the annual clarion call of gallant students movement programme. We are members of communities before we are students’ communities.
We must work together to address challenges of education, for we have been advised by Chairman Mao Zedong that ‘our educational policy must enable everyone who receives an education to develop morally, intellectually and physically and become a worker with both socialist consciousness and culture’.
Therefore, we urges comrades and other conscious individuals within our society to encourage young people to knock on the doors of education and they must not hesitate to request any assistance from any person with SASCO T-Shirt on the campuses within the region. “The power of education extends beyond the development of skills we need for economic success” NR Mandela.
We request comrades to be at ease and do the work of organisation as usual in these trying times of organisational politics. We shall all overcome our encountered challenges and become victorious on ensuring access for success of students.
In conclusion, The Regional Executive Committee caution potential students to be quite vigilant, on certain alleged bogus institutions which masquerade as legit institutions on intention to milk the tiny earnings of our poorer of the poorest individuals with their rapacious money targets through bogus institution.
We are quite aware of highest number of mushrooming FET/TVET colleges across the region particularly in Rustenburg and Madibeng Sub-region, we kindly advise our potential students to dial 0800872222 to verify whether college is registered or not and further quest the kind of courses of such institutions are entitled to offer. In addition, be informed that SASCO will ensure that all these suspected bogus colleges are eliminated to the end.
Let us do the best of our ability to strengthen our genuine organisational work of 2020 SASCO Right To Learn Campaign.
