Employee wellness is not an add-on; it is a core responsibility. During the engagement with EAP officials from Moses Kotane and Rustenburg LEOs, Acting CES: Circuits Coordination, Mrs Agnes Rasesemola emphasised the critical importance of mental health and wellness in the education sector. Teachers and officials who are mentally well are more productive, resilient and better equipped to support learner achievement. All schools and offices are encouraged to prioritise employee wellness as a strategic imperative rather than a by-the-way activity. A healthy workforce is the foundation of a high-performing education system.
When we prioritise the mental health and wellbeing of our employees, we create healthier workplaces, stronger schools and better outcomes for our learners.
