SCAM ALERT: PUBLIC WARNING FAKE JOB OFFERS

The City of uMhlathuze has become aware of fraudulent job offers circulating in the community, where members of the public are being asked to pay R5 000 in exchange for a guaranteed job in the Water and Sanitation Section.

Members of the public are urged NOT to pay any money to any person who claims that payment will secure or guarantee employment with the City of uMhlathuze.

The City of uMhlathuze does not sell or guarantee municipal jobs in exchange for money. All municipal vacancies are filled through official recruitment and selection processes, in accordance with applicable municipal policies and legislation.

The City of uMhlathuze wishes to inform residents and football lovers that work to rehabilitate the uMhlathuze Sports Complex has begun.

The contractor appointed for this task is expected to be on site until the 14th of this month.

Once all rehabilitation work has been completed, the PSL will be invited to conduct a final inspection of the pitch.

We appreciate the patience of our sporting community and reaffirm our commitment to providing a compliant, world-class facility for the City.
